T30 Journal — Terms of Use
Effective date: September 2, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Blocks and Circles LLC ("Blocks and Circles," "T30," "we," "us," or "our"), the owner and operator of T30 Journal. They govern the T30 Journal applications, private web journal, public website at t30journal.com, subscriptions, assessments, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). Multum Non Multa LLC provides backend engineering, infrastructure operation, maintenance, and support as a processor/service provider acting on behalf of Blocks and Circles LLC; Multum Non Multa LLC does not own T30 Journal.
Please read these Terms, including the binding arbitration agreement and class-action waiver in §15. When an acceptance screen is presented, you accept these Terms by selecting the agreement checkbox and the Agree and Continue button. You also accept them by creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or continuing to use the Services after receiving notice of an update, to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. App Store and Platform Terms
If you obtained the iOS app through the Apple App Store, your use is also governed by Apple's Standard User License Agreement. If you obtained the Android app through Google Play, Google Play's applicable terms also apply. Platform terms control only where they are required to control distribution, licensing, billing, or another platform-specific matter.
Apple and Google are not responsible for T30 Journal or its content except as their terms or applicable law require.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. If the law where you live requires parental consent for a person of your age to use the Services, you may use them only with that consent. The Services are not directed to children under 13.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your devices, sign-in credentials, recovery information, and account. Notify us promptly at info@t30journal.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
3. Subscriptions and Purchases
T30 Premium and other paid features may be offered through Apple StoreKit, Google Play Billing, or Stripe on the web. A free trial may be available to eligible subscribers. Unless the purchase screen says otherwise, a subscription renews automatically until canceled.
We do not receive your full payment-card number from Apple, Google, or Stripe. Prices, billing periods, taxes, trial eligibility, cancellation timing, and refund rights are shown by the applicable purchase provider and may also be governed by its terms.
- Manage or cancel an iOS subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings.
- Manage or cancel an Android subscription through Google Play.
- Manage or cancel a web subscription through the Stripe billing portal linked from the web journal.
Deleting the app or your T30 account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by Apple or Google. Cancel it through the applicable store.
4. Premium AI Features and Separate Consent
Optional AI-generated Daily Insights requires a separate, versioned in-app agreement before the first generation request and again after a material disclosure change. Premium access alone does not authorize AI processing. You may decline and continue using non-AI features, or turn off future generation.
If you opt in:
- The app selects a bounded set of recent entries and related signals described in the Privacy Policy. It may include sensitive reflections about you or another person. Photos, precise locations, account identifiers, and encryption keys are excluded.
- The selected information is transmitted through T30-controlled Cloud Functions to Google Cloud's AI service and must be readable during processing.
- T30 does not persist the selected source or raw model response as unencrypted journal content. A finished article is encrypted on your device before cloud storage.
- T30 does not authorize Google to use the selected information to train or fine-tune AI models. AI processing is not represented as zero-retention; temporary processing or retention may occur for security, abuse monitoring, caching, or service operation under applicable terms.
AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, fabricated, or misleading. Review it before relying on or sharing it. Daily Insights is for personal reflection and is not medical, mental-health, therapeutic, legal, financial, emergency, crisis, or safety advice.
5. License
Subject to these Terms and applicable platform terms, Blocks and Circles grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the Services for their intended personal purposes.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the Services or proprietary content except as applicable law or platform terms permit.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except to the extent mandatory law permits.
- Circumvent access, subscription, security, privacy, rate-limit, or technical controls.
- Use automated means that impose an unreasonable load or scrape non-public information.
- Introduce malware, interfere with the Services, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Use the Services to violate law, these Terms, or another person's rights.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create. You grant Blocks and Circles and its processors a limited license to host, transmit, process, reproduce, and display your content only as needed to provide features you request, maintain security and reliability, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.
You are responsible for your content and for having the rights needed to submit or share it. Do not use T30 Journal to harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, or unlawfully disclose information about another person.
7. Partner and Sharing Features
Partner features allow you to share selected information with a connected person. You control what you choose to share, but a recipient may retain information already viewed, downloaded, exported, or captured. Disconnecting stops future sharing; it cannot recall copies outside T30's control.
T30 Journal is not a surveillance, verification, or proof service. It does not guarantee that another person is truthful, safe, sober, faithful, or compliant with any agreement. It does not replace professional, medical, mental-health, legal, or emergency support.
8. Website Forms and Communications
If you submit a contact, newsletter, professional-directory, or assessment form, you represent that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to provide it. Assessment results are informational and are not a diagnosis or professional advice.
Marketing messages will include the legally required unsubscribe method. Transactional, safety, billing, account, or service messages may still be sent when necessary to provide the Services.
9. Privacy
The T30 Journal Privacy Policy explains how Blocks and Circles and its processors handle information across the Services. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms for notice purposes but does not reduce any non-waivable privacy right.
10. Intellectual Property
T30 Journal, its software, branding, interface, designs, documentation, and original content—excluding user content—are owned by Blocks and Circles LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. No right is granted except the limited license in §5.
If you provide feedback, you authorize Blocks and Circles to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.
11. Service Changes and Availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features where permitted by law. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available, error-free, compatible with every device, or recoverable after local data loss. Keep independent copies of exports that matter to you.
12. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." BLOCKS AND CIRCLES LLC DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT.
T30 JOURNAL IS A PERSONAL JOURNALING AND INFORMATION-ORGANIZATION TOOL. IT IS NOT MEDICAL, MENTAL-HEALTH, THERAPEUTIC, LEGAL, FINANCIAL, EMERGENCY, CRISIS, OR SAFETY ADVICE. SEEK QUALIFIED HELP FOR HEALTH, SAFETY, OR LEGAL CONCERNS.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLOCKS AND CIRCLES LLC, MULTUM NON MULTA LLC, AND THEIR MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, PROCESSORS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS; OR THE CONDUCT OF ANOTHER USER OR THIRD PARTY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THEIR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID DIRECTLY FOR THE SERVICES DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) U.S. $100.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and they do not waive statutory privacy remedies or other non-waivable consumer rights.
14. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify and hold harmless Blocks and Circles LLC, Multum Non Multa LLC, and their members, officers, employees, affiliates, processors, and licensors from third-party claims, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful content or conduct, infringement of another person's rights, or material violation of these Terms. This provision does not require a consumer to indemnify a party for that party's own negligence, willful misconduct, or violation of law.
15. Dispute Resolution, Binding Arbitration, and Class-Action Waiver
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT REQUIRES MOST DISPUTES TO BE RESOLVED BY INDIVIDUAL BINDING ARBITRATION AND WAIVES JURY TRIALS AND CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDINGS, EXCEPT WHERE THE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW THAT RESULT.
15.1 Informal Resolution First
Before filing a claim, you and Blocks and Circles agree to try to resolve it informally for 60 days. Send a written notice to info@t30journal.com with the subject "Notice of Dispute." Include your name, account email if applicable, a description of the dispute, the relief requested, and information sufficient for us to investigate. We will send our notice to the email associated with your account.
The limitations period is tolled during this 60-day process to the extent permitted by law. Either party may seek temporary relief needed to prevent immediate, irreparable harm.
15.2 Agreement to Arbitrate
Except for matters listed in §15.4, you and Blocks and Circles agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Services, these Terms, the Privacy Policy, communications, purchases, privacy, data processing, or the relationship between you and Blocks and Circles—including statutory, contract, tort, and equitable claims—will be resolved by binding individual arbitration.
The Federal Arbitration Act governs this arbitration agreement. Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules in effect when the claim is filed, available at adr.org. A single neutral arbitrator will decide the dispute and questions of arbitrability, except that a court will decide the validity and enforceability of the class-action waiver and any request for public injunctive relief that applicable law requires a court to decide.
Unless the parties agree otherwise, a hearing may occur by video, telephone, written submissions, or in the county where you live. The arbitrator may award the same individual remedies a court could award under applicable law and must issue a reasoned written decision.
15.3 Individual Proceedings and Class-Action Waiver
YOU AND BLOCKS AND CIRCLES AGREE TO BRING CLAIMS ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY. NEITHER PARTY MAY BRING, JOIN, OR PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, COORDINATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION OR ARBITRATION, EXCEPT WHERE THIS WAIVER IS PROHIBITED BY LAW.
The arbitrator may award relief only to the individual seeking relief and only as needed to resolve that individual's claim. The arbitrator may not combine claims of different people without the written agreement of all parties.
15.4 Claims Not Required to Be Arbitrated
Either party may:
- Bring an eligible individual claim in small-claims court.
- Seek emergency or temporary injunctive relief from a court while arbitration is pending.
- Bring a claim concerning infringement or misuse of intellectual-property rights in court.
- Report a matter to a government agency or regulator, which may act regardless of these Terms.
- Pursue any claim or remedy that applicable law does not permit to be arbitrated or waived.
15.5 Public Injunctive Relief
If applicable law permits you to seek public injunctive relief and prohibits arbitration of that request, the request will be decided by a court after individual arbitrable claims are resolved. Nothing in these Terms waives a non-waivable right to public injunctive relief.
15.6 Arbitration Fees
AAA's Consumer Arbitration Rules govern filing and arbitration fees. Your required fee will not exceed the amount you would pay to file the claim in court. Blocks and Circles will pay fees the law or AAA rules require it to pay and will consider a reasonable request to pay additional fees when necessary to make arbitration accessible. Each party bears its own attorneys' fees unless applicable law or the arbitrator permits a fee award.
15.7 Right to Opt Out
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing info@t30journal.com within 30 days after you first accept these Terms. Use the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out" and include your name, the email associated with your T30 account, and a clear statement that you opt out of §15. Opting out will not affect your account or access to the Services. An opt-out applies only to the person and account identified in the request.
15.8 Severability and Survival
If a portion of §15 is unenforceable, it will be severed and the remainder enforced, except that if the class-action waiver is finally held unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim must proceed in court and not arbitration. This section survives termination of the Services and these Terms.
16. Jury-Trial Waiver and Court Venue
For any dispute not subject to arbitration, YOU AND BLOCKS AND CIRCLES WAIVE A TRIAL BY JURY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Except for small-claims matters and proceedings that applicable law allows elsewhere, exclusive venue will be the state or federal courts with jurisdiction over the county and state of Blocks and Circles LLC's principal place of business. Mandatory consumer-protection law may provide a different venue.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and, for issues not governed by federal law, the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection laws in your place of residence continue to apply where they cannot be waived.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when a change materially affects your rights. If we materially change §15, we will request renewed assent where required and will not apply the change retroactively to a dispute for which we received a valid notice before the change.
Continued use after legally sufficient notice constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by law. If an acceptance screen is presented, you must affirmatively agree before continuing to use account-based Services.
19. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time and may delete your account through the available account controls. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations of these Terms, security threats, fraud, unlawful conduct, or discontinuation of the Services, subject to applicable law.
Sections that by their nature should survive—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, dispute resolution, and accrued payment obligations—survive termination.
20. General Terms
These Terms and incorporated policies are the entire agreement concerning the Services except for a separate agreement expressly identified as supplementing them. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified only as much as necessary or severed, and the remainder will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; Blocks and Circles may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of the Services, subject to applicable law.
